2cups of fresh basil leaves
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
2oz pine nuts
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup olive oil
salt & pepper to taste.
Place the basil, garlic, pine nuts and 1/2 tsp salt into the food processor, grind to a paste. Add the cheese and grind until thoroughly blended. With the machine running, slowly add the olive oil. Put into lidded container and store in the fridge, all ready for your pasta.
