GOLDEN CHICKEN

A DELICIOUS WAY TO USE UP COOKED CHICKEN

 
 

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

1oz Butter or Margarine
1.5 oz of plain flour
1 tbsp curry powder
2 tbsp Mango chutney
8oz multi-color pasta twists
5oz natural yogurt
1large onion
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1pt chicken stock
12oz cooked chicken pieces
2 tbsp of sultanas

METHOD:

Fry onion in the butter/margerine until soft, stir in the curry powder and ginger and fry for another minute. Stir in the flour
and fry for another minute. Pour in the stock, stir, boil, add chutney and cooked chicken, simmer for 20mins.
Add sultanas and yoghurt to pan, stir well and allow to just heat through.

Meanwhile cook the pasta, drain and turn into a greased dish. Pour mixture over pasta and toss to blend. ENJOY!
